How To Transition Your Wardrobe From Winter To Spring

★ Hello Fashionistas!

I hope you are all having a truly wonderful start to the year of 2024! I pray that your year is filled with nothing but blessings!

As we enter into a new year, Winter slowly starts to fade, and the season of Spring begins! If you're looking to get an early start of preparation for your Spring wardrobe, keep on reading!

1. Make Room In Your Closet

If the temperatures are starting to warm up where you live, it is a good idea to start off the Spring season by doing a simple closet cleanout and removing all of the bulky jackets and Winter items that are taking up space. If you and your family have an extra closet where you store seasonal items, It's a good idea to move those clothing pieces there, or you can buy a simple bin for those items and place it under your bed.

2. Start By Wearing Light Layers

Although in Spring the temperatures start to warm up drastically, it can still be a bit chilly outside, so it is a good practice to keep a light layer with you such as a hoodie, zip-up, or flannel to keep yourself warm and to have a stylish element to your outfit.

3. (Optional) Start Embracing The Pastels

Spring is a beautiful time to start embracing a pastel color scheme in your wardrobe! Although this tip may not be for everyone, if you're wanting to switch up your style and embrace your inner Soft Girl aesthetic, this may be a good option for you!

4. Dresses, Dresses, Dresses!

We all love a nice flowy, feminine dress and Spring is the perfect time to wear them! They are absolutely beautiful additions to any wardrobe, and I truly love just how girly they are! They're also super easy to find in any department store, and you can find very stylish ones for around 10-15 dollars!

Tip: Layering cardigans over dresses in the Spring is a useful way to not only stay warm, but to add a nice contrasting texture and visual element to your outfit.

5. Try Out Fun Makeup Looks

To go along with your new color scheme in clothing, embracing pops of color in your makeup is a really fun and exciting way that you can show off your style! Pinks, blues, greens, and yellows are gorgeous Spring colors, and are sure to pop on any skin tone!

That's all for my post on How To Transition Your Wardrobe From Winter To Spring!
I hope you guys enjoyed this post and that it gave you some inspiration for your Spring wardrobe!

Without further ado, let's get into our weekly bible verse:

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV) "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"

This verse coincides perfectly with this being the first day of the year 2024. I want to encourage you today that if you want change, you can make change happen. You can be made a new creation.

Don't let this year be another year that is wasted. Truly use it for discipline, commitment, and focus, and see how God moves in your life.

I also want to say that if it has been on your heart to give your life to Christ, now is the time! God loves you, and He loves to see His children honor Him and follow His commandments.

You can do so by going to a church and allowing them to lead you, getting baptised, or even joining an online church community if you are unable to do so in-person. There are so many different options, so please don't let anything stop you!

Here is also a really great resource answering the simple question of how to give your life to Christ. I highly recommend reading it!

  1. Hey Toni! Happy New Year!!🎊 Last years we had an early spring, so it is pretty smart to start preparing our spring wardrobe! Honestly, this year I would love to start wearing more pastel colors and dresses! In the fall last year I bought some super cute mauve stacked sandals that are going to look super cute with my spring colors! I would love to implement layers since I have plenty of vests, flannels, & jackets to wear with outfits!

Moreover, the verse you used is very powerful, especially entering into the new year. It is essential to put away our old self and it’s sinful ways and being the person God called us to be. This definitely is said easier than done because there are times when we crave & desire to do what we used to do, but that is why it is important to have accountability who can see where we are at and help us to continue our walk in newness! Loved this post!!✨

    1. Thank you! You too! 🎊
Yes, totally! I would love to see you wearing more pastel colors, and those sandals sound super cute! 🥰 Layering is so fun, and I know you're going to have a blast styling different outfits utilizing that!

Indeed! Becoming the people that God has called us to be can be a hard task, but it is one of the biggest steps - if not the BIGGEST step that we can take in this life!

Thank you so much! 💜 I love your reflections on these verses!
