How To Create Killer Looks In The Summer

 

Hey everyone! Today's blog post is all about How To Create Killer Looks In The Summer. 

A lot of times in hot weather we find it hard to even think about anything but finding something that won't make us even hotter! But here's your reassurance that you don't have to stick to tank-tops and baseball caps to be cute and comfortable in the Summertime!


1. Wear More Dresses. Summer is the perfect time to take out your dresses from the back of your closet! They look cute and are comfortable without you needing to put much effort in them at all! 

2. Accessories! Accessorizing really helps to elevate a look! You can still wear a tank-top and shorts and make the outfit cute with a necklace and earrings! 

3. Loose-fitting clothing is essential! A misconception in fashion is that many think that you can't create cute looks with loose clothing! But they are actually perfect for the grunge aesthetic and if you're going for the streetwear look! In both of these styles you can wear baggy shirts and jeans that will help you feel cooler, while looking cute at the same time!

4. Light-colored clothing! In the sun darker fabrics tend to make you feel warmer, but if you lean towards light pastels you'll feel cooler!

5. Patterns are the way to go! If you still feel the need to stick with the casual shirt and shorts, you can still make the outfit pop by using different patterns in your outfits!

6. Light makeup! I don't know about you, but wearing a full face of makeup and then sweating it all off doesn't sound ideal! Stick with light makeup looks - besides, you don't need much! You're already naturally beautiful! 

7. Make use of updos! Keeping your hair up will make you feel cooler, and you can always rock a cute messy bun or a cute braid!

8. If you can't find a way to make your tank-top and shorts work, you can always go for some fun shoes! Wearing the signature checkered Vans or even some colorful Air Force 1's will do the work for you! They'll make your look pop with you putting in 0 effort!

9. Hats are a girl's best friend! And there's literally so many styles to choose from: Baseball, floppy, bucket, etc! These babies will keep you in the shade while helping you create a cute look all at once!

10. Sunglasses! Just like the hats, there are so many styles! They keep the sun out of your eyes and add on to your ensemble!

    Cool!!! Love it!!! Especially the messy bun - don't mind if I do! I am not saying my face fits a messy bun but my messy bun definitely works for me in hot weather - I run around a lot and I can tend to get sweaty if I wear my hair done....besides, my hair is natural and turns into tight curls when I sweat - Yuk! :) Thanks for the tips
