We will be discussing all things back-to-school style!
With some of us already enrolled in school for the semester and some of us just now preparing to, the stress can be real! And in today's blog post my goal is to ease some of that stress by giving you my best tips on showing up to school in style!
With all of that being said, let's get into today's blog post!

STEP 1 - PLANNING AHEAD ☆
By planning ahead at least one night in advance, you are able to save time in your mornings, leaving more time for last minute study sessions and leisure.
Planning your outfits doesn't have to be some huge task. Just by making sure you have everything you need (including your schoolbag!) and laying it out on your bed for the next day is more than enough for an easy morning of getting ready!
STEP 2 - CHOOSING A STYLE ☆

There are so very many aesthetics to choose from, and who says you have to stick to one thing?
Here are a couple of different aesthetic ideas to get your brain going:
☆ Dark Academia
☆ Coquette
☆ Grunge
☆ Earthy Girl
☆ Coconut Girl
... just to name a few!
STEP 3 - PAIRING YOUR OUTFIT TOGETHER ☆
Last but certainly not least, when it comes to making the perfect school outfit, one must be sure to pair wisely. Pairing your clothing properly is what sets apart your outfit from being a basic one to a stylish one!
This step can be as simple or as intricate as you want! It is solely up to you, and what you feel like doing!
One of the easiest ways to style outfits is by using the Sandwich Method, a method that you have probably used without even realizing it! With this way of styling outfits, you simply match the top with the bottom, so for example: if you wear a shirt with a significant orange pattern, match it with shoes that have an orange design, and maybe with a matching bag too!

In addition to using the Sandwich Method for simple styling, there's also a few key pieces that you can use to elevate an outfit, some of which being:

☆ Necklaces
☆ Rings
☆ A Cute Bookbag or Tote
☆ Hair Accessories like Clawclips, Bows, Barrettes & Headbands
☆ Cute & Cozy Jackets
☆ Cute Phonecases/Charms
... and more!
At the end of the day creating cute and comfortable school outfits is all about creativity! Make sure that you are wearing what YOU like, and not dressing for the view of others (minus making sure to be within dress code of course!). Fashion is a form of self-expression, so make sure that you are never placing yourself in one box!
