Hello Fashionistas! Today's post is all about How To Create The Model Off-Duty Look! Seen all over the streets of New York City and LA! Models and regular folks alike have been rocking this look!
The most common models you've likely seen in this style are Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Hailey Bieber...you get the point.
The main attraction towards this trend is that it is so carefree and versatile! You can wear baggy clothing, tight clothing, messy hair in a hat - whatever works for you! Honestly, we probably have all worn this style without even thinking about it!

Simple Pieces Are Your Best Friend
Model off-duty is literally the epitome of "bringing it back to the basics". Most model off-duty looks feature plain white tees, sweats or loose-fitted jeans and simple non-extravagant jewelry. That being said, if you are looking for a style that is low-cost, model off-duty might just be the one! Why? We ALL literally have these items in our closets!

Sunglasses
You can't be a moody model if you don't own a pair of sunglasses, of course! I recommend a pair of classic black shades because you can pair them with any outfit! Here is a

There are hardly any photos of the model off-duty look that don't feature sunglasses! Seriously, search it up! They are a must-have!
Add An Oversized Piece
A lot of times in this style, people add on an oversized jacket or blazer! More often than not though, you'll see a blazer! These are added on to give a sense of "put-togetherness", but it is still debatable whether this style is suitable for business, school or work because along with blazers, it still features sweats and loose-fit clothing!
Small Purses
For the most part I have only seen model off-duty looks with tiny bags. My guess is that it is to help things to be easier to carry and more lightweight, which thus helps add on to the effortlessness! You can have some fun with this because there are different types and styles: mini purse, clutch, baguette/clutched, etc!
Add A Piece That Pops
If you want to lean less into the basics, and more into boldness with model off-duty, it is easily achievable! Adding a statement purse, belt, contrasting blazer, jacket, or even wearing some bold sneakers or heels will easily make your look more bold and less basic!
No Makeup-Makeup/Clean Girl Makeup
Model off-duty is all about being carefree and effortless, meaning not going full glam and looking like you spent hours on your makeup! So, do light minimal makeup if you wear it! (Plus, you don't need pounds of makeup - you're gorgeous! ♥)
