THE COMPLETE GUIDE: How To Be A Baddie On A Budget

Hey everyone! Today's post is all about How To Be A Baddie On A Budget! And let me tell you...the tea has been spilled! I am giving ALL the tips today, so take notes!😉

I have been wanting to do a post on this for so long, so finally I am pushing it out for all of you!

Alright, so POV: You want to drip with style but you also don't want to break the bank.

Sound about right? No worries girl, I got you!

In today's post I'll be giving my biggest tips on how you can be a baddie on a budget! 

Before we begin, we need to clarify what exactly a "baddie" looks like. Here I've made a little collage which I think conveys the all popular "IG Baddie" so, let's take a look!

So...what are we seeing a lot of here? Well, first things first - CONFIDENCE! Do any of the girls in these pictures look insecure? Do any of the girls look like they care about anyone else's opinion but their own? Nope!

The first step you can take to becoming a baddie is knowing your worth and not lowering it for anybody. Do I need to repeat that? Don't lower your worth for anybody! PERIOD. 

Have confidence, girl! You are beautiful, smart and talented - so act like it!

Alright, so now that we kinda have a gist on what a baddie looks like, let's get into the whole fashion aspect! 

1. Baggie clothing are a yes! 

If you are already in love with the tomboy look, then you're in luck! Baggie clothing are featured very often in the baddie aesthetic and are also super comfortable at the same time!

2. Stock up on cute kicks! 

Okay, since we're on a budget here, you don't need to go to the store right this second and buy out all of the shoes (no matter how much you want to), but this does mean that whenever you have the opportunity to - stock up on 'em and get the trendiest, most stylish ones you can find! Shoes are one of the easiest ways to level up on an outfit! You can have a plain tracksuit on, but if you add a cute pair of color-coordinating sneakers, It's immediately a look! Don't believe me? See how great this outfit looks? Not to mention the monochrome color scheme! Sneakers are such an easy way to make an outfit cuter, so don't sleep on them!

3. Hats

Everyone has a few and if you're that one person who doesn't - your dad does, your boyfriend does AND your brother does - so just borrow from them in need of a fashion crisis! But seriously, hats are a perfect addition for any baddie/tomboy look!

 

4. Sunglasses

If you really want to make a statement, sunglasses are the way to go! Sunglasses can make you look a little bit more like a "boss-babe" and kind of gives off the "don't mess with me" look, so if that's what you're going for, sunglasses are going to be your new best friend! Not to mention the fact that sunglasses can be as cheap as you need, or as expensive as you want! You can find plenty of cute ones in-store or online!

5.  Bright Colors

When you're a baddie, you aren't afraid to stand out, right? And of course one of the best ways to stand out it by wearing bright and outrageous colors! Bright colors are so fun and I love when I see people wearing them- It's like an instant boost of serotonin! 

HOW TO MAKE IT FEMININE:

Okay, so now that we know the basics of being a baddie, what about how to make it feminine? Sure, the tomboy aesthetic is great, but if you're looking to add a bit of class or make your baddie outfits suitable for a night out, here's all you need to know!

Dresses:

A no-brainer, right? Want something more feminine - add a dress! Simple. 

You can still be the baddest chick on the block while wearing a dress! Dresses add a classiness factor to the drip and let you still have the opportunity to add colors, sunglasses, etc!

Jewelry: 

If you need a little pop and want to make your outfit look a little bit more expensive, jewelry is a great addition! Also - with the baddie aesthetic you don't need to stick to gold, silver, etc - jewelry comes in a variety of colors, so don't be afraid to add some color to coordinate it with your outfit! 

Purses:

Purses can make an outfit look more feminine and girly, so if you want to girl-ify your outfit and take away from the tomboy look a little bit, adding a dainty little purse will do the job!
