Hey everyone! Today's post is all about How To Plan Your Outfits! With a busy work schedule, school schedule, social life schedule, etc. it can be hard to find time to even think! Much less plan a cute outfit, so today I am going to be giving you my top tips on planning outfits, so even in the midst of a busy day, you can still look chic!
1. Choose a specific day to plan your outfits. I recommend choosing a day that you are the least busy, that way you won't feel stressed and think of it as another chore you need to do.
2. Pick your outfits based on the weather. Looking at the weather for the week will help you determine what you need! Ex: Is it going to be humid? Wear shorts and tank-tops! Rainy? Make sure to wear a jacket!
3. Make sure you choose the appropriate outfits! By this I mean look through your calendar for the week ahead and see what you're going to be doing. Job interview? Might want to get a little fancier - School? You can tone it down a bit. So just keep the occasion in mind when planning outfits!
4. Need inspiration? Look through Google or Pinterest to find some ideas for the look you're going for! (Or...you know...check out my blog posts π)
5. Make sure your closet and/or dresser is organized! One of the worst things is trying to find certain pieces for an outfit when you don't know where to look! So having everything neat and tidy will prevent this and help you plan! If you want help with this step, check out this post I did all about closet organization!
6. Make sure you have a focal point! Even the simplest outfits can have a focal point, whether It's the shoes you wear or the hat, make sure you have something that makes each outfit pop!
7. Accessories! Most women wear accessories in their outfits so if you don't plan on what accessories you're going to wear with each outfit, you are still going to struggle when finding what piece to wear, so make sure you include these in your planning!
8. Lastly, if you wear makeup, coordinate it with the outfit and have everything you know you're going to need planned out! Also, to go along with tip 3, make sure your makeup is being worn for the occasion!
