Transitioning Into Spring - How To Style Florals & Pastels

Hey everyone! As we are getting closer into that transition to the beautiful Spring weather, what is your Spring fashion going to look like?

When I think of Spring I usually think of florals and pastels!

So in honor of that, I am going to be giving you a couple of tips on how to style florals and pastels!

Florals are perfect for a Spring look! While giving off both a feminine and cute vibe they can also be perfectly paired with a pastel color palette!

Here are my top tips on how to style floral prints:

1. Keep it simple! While florals can be cute, they can overpower an outfit very quickly if you use too much of it!

2. Style it with neutrals. The reason I say this is because most floral prints have elaborate and bright colors, so pairing it with neutrals will help your look not be too loud (unless you're going for that, haha!)

3. If you're not into the entire floral look, let your accessories do the talking! A floral chunky bracelet or even a bold floral inspired necklace will do the job!

Pastels are perfect for Spring - and any time really! With this chic and cute color palette you can go for the Soft Girl Aesthetic or a look all of your own!

Here are my top tips on how to style pastels:

1. My favorite way to see pastels styled is in the monochromatic style! Pastels look so adorable this way and this look is absolutely perfect for creating a Spring-inspired ensemble!

2. If you're not so much into the monochromatic style - why not pair pastels with other pastels? This look creates a perfect blend of color while still staying within the same theme.

3. Just like with florals, pairing pastel colors with neutrals is great for not overwhelming your entire look! This creates a safe color combo and will make that pastel piece in your outfit pop even more!
