How To (lightly) Pack Clothes For A Vacation

Hey everyone!

Today I'm going to be sharing with you a couple different ways that you can pack your clothes for a vacation - without over packing! I know many of us (including me) love to take as much as possible with us on a vacation, but honestly - that isn't always ideal! Here's how you can reduce the amount of clothes you pack while also keeping the necessities.

My first way that I use to lightly pack my clothing is by narrowing down. What I mean by this is think about what you are packing for. Are you going camping or are you going to a cousin's wedding in another state? Think about your situation. For example, if you're going camping you probably don't need to bring a pair of high heels (no matter how adorable they are!).

My second way I lightly pack my clothes is by using a packing list. Writing a list beforehand helps you to not get distracted by little things you don't need and to only think about the big picture. (Remember: Once you create the list - stick to it! If It's something you know you won't use, you don't need to bring it!)

Another good way to pack lightly is by not bringing duplicates (depending on how long you're staying). If you're already packing one pair of jeans, you probably don't need another. Try mixing and matching your outfits to create a new look!
